Our mother was passionate about child development and education. She LOVED children, and she demonstrated it every chance she got by volunteering at church with the children's nursery. She encouraged all of us to "get our education" and that passion was passed on to her children and so that is why we formed this foundation in honor of her memory, Carolyn Marie Lemond-Gradney, who was affectionately called "Key" by many of her family and loved ones.
